We embrace these principles not only because of the positive effect that they have on everyone's quality of life, but also because they enhance the performance of our business.

We are committed to leading the industry in minimising the impact of our activities on the environment, and we actively seek to build environmental benefits into our projects.

We support as many community and voluntary organisations as possible, including the local Air Cadets, Brass Band and sports clubs.

Our Work

Carreg Las evolved out of  Cardiff University's internationally renowned Geoenvironmental Research Centre (GRC), having been created by Dr Rob Francis in 2013 (See the work of the  GRC in the link to the right of the page).

Rob has extensive experience and expertise gained over  almost 20 years of successfully researching, testing  and developing new and innovative projects at the GRC. This has inspired Rob to continue this work in the private sector.

Carreg Las therefore works with private, public and voluntary sector organisations to help them research and develop their ideas, and to take them forward to achieve successful outcomes. We can support organisations with everything from desk top studies through to pilot scale demonstration projects, leading to commercial viable products and processes.
